My First Ever Talk – Creativity Series II

Fast forward a couple of years later, priorities and choices change, but the passion never faded.”

When I was young, I wanted to be a teacher when I got older. I wanted to teach young children, drawing from my interest for kids. In my formative years as a preschooler and an elementary student, I told myself if I wouldn’t be a newscaster (which was another childhood dream of mine), I would pick teaching as a profession.

Fast forward a couple of years later, priorities and choices change, but the passion never faded.

Maximizing my skills of being the extrovert, a chatterbox and a former elocutionist, I was given the utmost opportunity to speak before my fellow students in the university about blogging. I would be lying if I told you it wasn’t a dream of mine to become a speaker, but lo and behold (God answered my prayers) it happened this year – a goal I planted at the beginning of the year. It even happened a day before my 21st birthday – the perfect cherry on top.

I am so thankful for DLSU – MaFia (the official organization for Finance students) for organizing this event and for choosing Aliya (who talked about makeup) and I to enlighten the students more on what we do. The preparation was just as nerve-wracking as speaking before the students, but it was an opportunity I would love to do all over again. 🙂

I am open to collaborations, sponsorships, product features and the like. I also conduct talks/seminars!
