Travel With Ysabel: London (Photo Diary)

To kickoff the brand new year are the #TravelWithYsabel chronicles! 2014 has been a year full of blessings and it’s currently my favorite year. A recap of my it is now posted HERE.

If you’ve noticed my Instagram posts, I’m currently in Europe! It’s my first time to travel outside North America and Asia so the environment is totally new to me. I’ll be studying at Lille, France for one semester as an exchange student from DLSU. I just visited my school today and I’m very excited to hit the halls, the books and most especially travelling!

Christian Bautista and I were on the same flight and was seated right behind me. He was transferred to another seat which was in front of me. 2015 started right, yes? :))

London was cold, with a temperature of 5 degrees celsius. London was just like how I imagined it to be, like how I pictured it in Love, Actually. This is a horse head from Hyde Park.

Train station ts 2

ST PANCRAS STATION – the structure of this station reflects of the Victorian era. You in fact can even shop while killing time in waiting for your ride. This statue is John Betjeman, an English writer, poet and broadcaster. His famous quotes are scribbled in the train station floors.

I know, I took very few photos! Our stay at London was very brief since we left for Paris the following day. It was just an overnight stay. Nonetheless the cold, the environment, the climate, the accents? My stay in London left me hanging. There is so much more to explore and seek. I guess you could say the year started with an adventure waiting for me.
