Did you know that the Philippines has the longest Christmas celebration in the world? At the start of September, Christmas parol stalls are beginning to go on business again, Christmas songs are being played at the mall and the Christmas countdowns have officially begun. I think what makes Christmas celebration special in the Philippines compared to other countries is the attitude being brought about by Filipinos during the merry season as well as the traditions we have such as the simbang gabi, Christmas caroling, Noche Buena, and the grand family reunions. My family and I keep up with the same Christmas traditions every year but with special twists to it. I don’t know what plans are this year, but I certainly can’t wait.
Speaking of celebrations, it’s been roughly 1½ months since V1KT8RIA (my 18th birthday). Up to this day, I still feel giddy whenever I think about it. Thanks to MyDebut for the feature and for reminding me how beautiful and magical that night was! Thanking again all the people who made it possible – from the V1KT8RIA committee to the guests, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me the happiest debutante (Queen Elsabel hihi) alive.

Again, thank you to My Debut PH for the feature! I hope future debutants will get inspiration from my night to remember!
