My brother Tyron and I study in schools that are located just in front of each other but we barely have time together due to conflicting schedules. Like many siblings, we have disagreements and the like; but one thing we strongly conform to is our love for pizza! We’ve been hearing about Project Pie for a while now since it’s been spreading like wild fire just by word of mouth.
Ty and I visited the Fairview Terraces branch, one of the newly opened ones the metro. The urbanized, factory-inspired ambience gave us so much feels from our New York trip last summer (see more about that here). Project Pie allows you to be creative in making that perfect pie – you can choose from the fixed list that offers toppings that go all-together or go crazy with your own, picked pizza toppings. Yes, you can put as much toppings as you want!
For our first Pizza, Ty and I created our own pie that consisted of caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese, fresh mushrooms and bacon, drizzled with barbecue sauce. The pizza is fit for four regular pizza slices but I guess my brother and I felt full right away due to the amount of toppings. Is your mouth watering now? 😛
We decided to go for one more pie – the classic cheese but we added bacon. You can never go wrong with that.
And while savoring that perfect pie, let the quotes on the wall inspire you.
Verdict: My brother and I enjoyed Project Pie very much but we wished the pizza could in bigger sizes! We can’t wait to try the other toppings as well as the desserts.
